Our church is hurting -- more specifically, our building fund (mortgage) is in deep trouble.  Why, you ask?  Probably because you didn't know, or you didn't think you could help.

Well, there's good news!  You can help!  Here's the plan

Each week we have an average attendance of 200 people.  If each person who comes in the door gives an extra dollar (beyond their regular giving) each week, we would raise $200 each week.  Multiply that by 52 weeks in the year and would raise $10,400.  That's only $414 short of an extra mortgage payment each year.

How do we make up that extra $414?  With a coin drive in the Sabbath Schools.  Each classroom will have a collection container for the building fund (mortgage).  This quarter's coin is a penny -- so gather up all those loose pennies in the bottom of your purse, in your coat pockets, under the couch cushions, or in your car and bring them in.  At the end of the quarter, we will tally the money for each room, and the class with the most money turned in will earn a pizza party.
