Scripture Speaks

Course Description: A study of the correct understanding of Jesus (His nature, character, teachings, and ethics) and of an intimate walk with Him as the solution to the problems John saw troubling the early church.  Students will receive an understanding of how these same solutions can/should be applied to church life today and to a personal walk with Jesus. This class shows that each of us has an influence which can be either detrimental or beneficial and calls us to a decision to further the work of God and become a blessing to many. It will be important members study the lesson throughout the week in order to enjoy participating in class time, which will include a brief review of principles studied during the week and then focus on discussion of what changes this may call for in the life of the church and/or the individual, and explorations of how these changes might be brought about.

The student will need a favorite Bible and a Bible Study Guide on John's Epistles,  to be found in the foyer. For those who would rather read the topic of each lesson in book form, the author of the lessons has penned a paperback  which you may purchase at either the Boise or Nampa  ABC.
